It's fair to say that the original Ford Bronco was ahead of its time. This was Ford's first compact SUV, a vehicle class that is so popular today. Basically, the Bronco remained the same from 1966 to 1977, and there were five generations of it. With a wheelbase of 2,337 mm, the first Bronco was intended as a multi-purpose transporter with four-wheel drive.
